New year’s resolutions are typically based on goals that we want to achieve in the coming year. However, many of us don’t start until January 1st – 21 days from today.

We all know that 21 days is the critical period required to form a new habit, but 21 days is also about achieving a lot. In 21 days, you can make significant progress on personal or professional goals.

Last year, I wrote about 10 things that you could achieve in 21 days. This year, I’m focusing on 21 things that you can achieve in 21 days, counting from today.

Remember – this is the critical period required to form a new habit. But it’s also about achieving a lot, so don’t get bogged down by the 21-day rule.

For example, 21 days from today you can get organized, develop a social media strategy and find new clients. In 21 days from today, you could have a website up and running, or you could submit your first guest post. 21 days from today is plenty of time to start a new project, get out of a rut or make a change.

It is time for the last push before the year is out!

Here are 21 things you can do in 21 days from today

1. Declutter your home.

Get rid of anything you don’t need or use, and organize what’s left. This will make your home feel more spacious and organized.

2. Set new fitness goals.

Whether it’s committing to working out every day for 21 days or signing up for a fitness class, set some goals and stick to them!

3. Learn something new.

There are many online tutorials available that can teach you everything from how to cook an Italian dish to how to crochet a blanket. Choose something that interests you and get started.

4. Create a budget.

Take the time to sit down and figure out how much money you need each month to cover your expenses. This can be a daunting task, but it’s very important in order to stay financially healthy.

5. Start a blog.

If you’ve been thinking about starting a blog, 21 days is a great time to do it. Choose a topic that you’re passionate about and get started.

6. Reach out to old friends.

Take some time to reconnect with friends from your past. Share memories and update each other on what’s been going on in your lives.

7. Volunteer your time.

There are many organizations that need volunteers, and giving back is a great way to feel good about yourself. Find an organization that aligns with your beliefs and volunteer your time.

8. Make a plan for the new year.

Think about what you want to achieve the new year and make a plan of how you’re going to achieve it. Having a plan will help keep you accountable.

9. Connect with family.

With the holidays coming up, take some time to connect with your family members. Share stories, memories, and laughs together.

10. Clean out your email inbox.

Spend some time cleaning out your email inbox and unsubscribing from any newsletters or mailing lists that you no longer want to receive. This will declutter your inbox and make it easier to find important emails later on.

Take the time to clean your car inside and out. This can be a tedious task, but it’s worth it in the end.

20. Spend some time alone.

Take some time for yourself and do something that you enjoy. Maybe read a book, take a walk, or listen to music. Relax and rejuvenate your mind and body.

21. Reflect on 21 days from today.

Take some time to reflect on the 21 days that have passed and think about what you’ve learned or accomplished. You may be surprised at what you’ve done in such a short amount of time.

21 days from today is a great time to start working on your goals for the new year. Whether you want to get in shape, save money, or read more books, there are plenty of things you can do to get started. Just remember to take things one step at a time and be patient. You’ll get there eventually!
