The best thing about summer is spending your days at the beach, sipping on frozen drinks. But don’t let us stop you from enjoying this smoothie, even when it’s not hot outside. Why? Because it’s healthy and nutritious (and also delicious!) The blueberries are packed with antioxidants that will keep your immune system healthy; coconut milk has anti-inflammatory ingredients that will help you recover after a strenuous workout. If you’re looking for an extra boost of energy before heading to the gym or just feeling tired in general, consider adding some ginger to this drink! The spicy root found in fresh ginger boosts metabolism and fights off fatigue leaving you ready to take on whatever your day throws at you!

Blueberry Smoothies

1) With Coconut Milk

1 cup of blueberries, fresh or frozen

½ cup coconut milk from a can

1 teaspoon ground ginger

1 tablespoon of maple syrup (optional)

Place all the ingredients in a blender and mix until desired consistency is reached. This smoothie tastes best when served cold, so pour it over ice cubes for chilling before serving! You can also experiment with adding some Greek yogurt to this recipe for a thicker texture. Remember: no matter how many healthy drinks you consume throughout the day, nothing replaces your daily intake of fruits and vegetables!
